Rio Grande do Sul hotels & accommodations

This place was fine for a quick two night stay, but the surrounding area is dangerous, the food was over-priced (and horrible), and the WiFi situation was very hit and miss. I guess this should have been expected as the hotels in this area are over 100 years old, and city regulations prevent them from making dramatic upgrades /remodeling, but either way I wouldn't sta...

room - shower is very dirty and full of mold (oh my!) bed too soft which is uncomfortable. the very basic a hotel room should has, a electric water boiler they dont have! complimentary water? our room does not have a 'do not disturb' card. poor management. gym is poorly maintained. pool is not heated. sauna also poorly maintain. breakfast, wifi, cable tv and location a...

the hotel is very well located, next to carrefour and iguatemy shopping mall. the hotel workers are great people and measure no efforts to make guests feel comfortable. i recommend this hotel for both pleasure and business, since all amenities are there to fulfill the needs of both type of travellers.

This would have been an excellent stay if I hadn't been for the staff's incompetence. I had booked and prepaid on this website, which they confirmed. However, when I get there my reservation is under someone else's name. After that, I went through a really embarassing moment as the clerk insists that the reservation hasn't been paid for and attempts to charge me for th...

i booked one night at the hotel continental porto alegre but actually stayed two nights. the room was nice, nothing spectacular. positives about the hotel was that it was across the street from the bus station or rodoviaria. the staff was nice and always helped me out.

i would wholeheartedly recommend this place! on first entering the room the decor and furnishings seem very 1970's - but the cable tv is a pleasant surprise with english channels and this is the beginning of seeing the upside of staying here. the hotel reception- especially joel- are fantastic, ever helpful with any queries or assistance you might need with anything-...

it was 1:40 am when my boyfriend and i arrived at estalagem coração da mata. cora, the owner, received us with a warm hug and a welcoming smile as if the late hour was not an issue. the next morning, after a great night of sleep in a cute cottage with fireplace, jacuzzi with glass ceiling and a fluffly comfortable bed, noeli welcomed us with a fresh home made delicaci...

The hotel is located near the city centre but still way from the very centre, which makes it a quiet spot. Most rooms I think comes with a balcony. Looking out from the balcony I saw lots of pine trees. The downside was the slightly musky smell from the blanket.

Unfortunately I had chosen this property based on a one night stay before, and now I spend 8 days, which give me the opportunity to check everything, and was a total disappointment. Especially when we went to do exercise, the fitting room facility was poorly maintained, dirty, the running machines were in very bad shape and not clean at all, all the previous sweet for ...

Staffs were attentive and friendly. Hotel is conversion of an old colonial building. The super deluxe room that I stayed was large with 2 double beds and balcony overlooking the main street. Shower room was a bit tight even for medium built person like me and the street remained noisy until 1-2 AM with bars blaring loud music all night.
