Great family vacation spot”
We stayed at Calodyne Lifestyle resort for two weeks with our 10 month old. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked in late and were received with open arms. The food were good. Only downside it that the resort don't have a gym and there is no gym close by, also its not safe to go and jog in the streets as the street is really narrow. Its nice and relaxing to have chilled on the beach and we can also take a canoe anytime to go and paddle around. The location is good for vacation, however there is only a small supermarket close and if you need anything else you'll have to go to Grand Baie. But overall experience were great!

Delapidated hotel that needs updating”
The hotel was probably once a nice place but unfortunately it hasn’t been well maintained and would now be a 2 star at best. The staff are nice and helpful but the pool wasn’t working, WiFi wasn’t working, electricity kept coming on and off through the night, tv wasn’t working and there were bugs in the room. We were moved to another hotel after one night.

Great location. Friendly personel, but water pressure very low, hair dryer doesn't work. Dinner was not good. They are upgrading, so hopefully it will be better soon, because the location is beautiful!

Great resort for Families with kids”
Wonderful Resort that caters well for families with small children. The resort is smaller and more intimate than some of the other resorts in Mauritius, which makes it very comfortable and manageable when visiting with smaller children. Great kids club, swimming pool and a variety of beach activities. Staff where friendly, and had daily activities planned for guests The food in the restaurant was of good quality with enough variety. Will definitely recommend this resort to friends travelling as a family with kids.

We were very impressed with the customer care and the extra miles that the staff would go to make sure we had a pleasant and enjoyable times. All the facilities were just awesome. Couldn't fault anything. First class service in a small and friendly resort and nothing is too much trouble. No problems catering for special diet for a relative who was ill. I would to express my thanks to all the staff at the restaurant, the reception, the accounts and the management and room staff. I would strongly recommend.

Not delivered to promise”
Arriving at the hotel, I was told there was a problem with my room and I had to be relocated to a different hotel. The accommodation of the new hotel was ok but not nearly as glamorous as the Calodyne resort photo's look. Breakfast at the resort where I was lodged was disappointing with few choices and little or no variation from day to day. On the last 3 days of my trip, guests were simply served a plate with some bread, one portion of butter and a few pieces of cheese: Not quite what I had expected.

Hotel with great potential ”
Our holiday started off on a disappointing note.We were given a garden room that faced a “prison wall”.No garden??? The situation got worse,our bathroom was continuously flooded with a terrible shower,the toilet was up against a wall which did not allow for comfortable seating 😂😂 The towels were grey old & threadbare 🤣 Our complaints went unheeded until l complained on TripAdvisor.A great guy ,the guest relations manager Akash came to our rescue and upgraded us to a delux pool room.Thanks for so ably handling the situation. However the rest of our holiday was enjoyable especially being spoilt & well looked after by Raven the Restaurant manager and his very competent waiters.We were on half board,and the food was ample,yet not always that delightful,a little bland at times. The breakfasts were not that elaborate,but appetizing,especially the omelette & pancakes 😜😜 Thanks for turning what could have been a disastrous holiday into a very pleasant one. Too far from civilization”
The hotel is nice, clean, friendly staff, excellent food (we had breakfast and dinner - wide selection of food. So far the stay was very good. For us there were few things not so great. 1st the hotel beach is small, only few sunbeds also by the pool 2nd the water on the beach was very very low so we have to walk 500m to have the water above half of the body to be able to swim, so this is very good for older people and kids, but not for 30+ :) also the water was not very clean, we rented motobikes and each day left the hotel to look for nicer and deeper water and we found! 3rd the hotel is located in the land of nowhere, there is no single restauratn only gas starion and supermarket, so if you go to this hotel i strongly reccomend to book aslo dinner and possible also lunch if you do not plan to rent a motobike or car. By foot or bike everything is too far for nice trip. In overal the hotel is very nice and clean with good food but not so good for active people

Nous sommes un couple qui avons l’habitude de voyager plutôt des âmes solitaires à la recherche de dépaysement et de découverte mais nous aimons le confort et le service , cet hôtel nous a permis de trouver le confort que nous souhaitons piscine transat ambiance sans prétention mais décoré avec goût juste l essentiel , le petit coin de plage est superbe on garde un côté très nature , d autres hôtels à côté si vous voulez changer de restaurant le soir ou le midi, je recommande les grands hôtels au double du prix n ont rien à envier

Hôtel très familial ,convivial, personnel efficace et très attentif, emplacement très calme chambre fonctionnelles un peu vieillottes pour certaines mériteraient rénovations il ne faut ne pas le vendre pour un établissement 4* car vous risquerez d'être déçu , étant conscient de cette information cela ne vous empêchera pas de passer un excellent séjour les chambres sont très propres le personnel est très sympathique et au petits soins pour vous faire plaisir , pas de bruits la nuit, hôtel les pieds dans l'eau ,la restauration est très bonne à thème, en Buffet le repas et la décoration pour la st Valentin était magnifique ,animation en journée et en soirée tout est fait pour nous satisfaire

un peu decu par la nourriture et les animations”
Nous avons te decu par l'emplacement de l hôtel avec aucun restaurant a coté, nous n avons pas pu manger mauricien et les buffets proposés étaient chers et pas très bon.... nous aurions aimée d avantage d animations ( volley ball pétanque, aquagym, waterpolo ou autres jeux durant la journée , en soirée par contre les danseurs et chanteurs étaient très bien ...

Wir haben für eine Woche dort gebucht gehabt aber wir sind nach 1 Tag das Hotel getauscht! Vor unsere Reise haben wir mehrfach über E-Mails, Social Media versucht das Hotel zu erreichen, wir haben nie eine Rückmeldung erhalten. Als wir dort hingereist sind, waren wir sehr enttäuscht! Dieses Hotel verdient keine 4 Sterne! Das Hotel ist sehr versteckt und die Gegenstand ist u er Haupt nicht schön! Im Hotel befinden sich noch Renovierungsarbeiten!! Unser Zimmer hat voll nach Urin und Putzmittel gesunken! Hotal eigner stand ist wirklich sehr klein und entspricht nicht die Bilder!! Es gibt so viele bessere Hotel auf Mauritius!! Hotel Restaurant ist ein Zelt ! Leider hat uns nichts gefallen und wir waren sehr enttäuscht!
