Stayed for the 4th time and this resort is perfect for those who love peace and quiet. There's not much going on around here. There's a bar next to the resort where you can sit and relax. The beach is beautiful and the sky is very beautiful ❤️ I really like it here.

I've stayed at Siam Beach Resort several times, and when I return to Koh Chang I will happily stay there again. First: location. Siam Beach Resort is on a lovely beach with few other hotels nearby, so you often have large stretches of beach to yourself. It is very quiet at night, save for the sounds of surf and the jungle. Renting a motorbike and driving along the mountainous jungle roads is also an amazing experience, for those who are competent on 2 wheels. The restaurant serves very good food with a beautiful view, and the staff are attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. From either the balcony or patio, you are only a few meters away from the sea. You can go to sleep and wake up with sound of the waves. If you like a relaxing, peaceful island experience, do yourself a favor and stay at this wonderful resort!
Beautiful beach standard rooms need updating”
The hotel sits on a beautiful beach that has several cafes and a good family run restaurant. We booked the standard room and unfortunately that part of the hotel needs updating ASAP. The bathroom window had a wood board in place of what should be glass window, the bathroom doors closed poorly and the furniture had seen better days. All in all if you take this in mind I’d still recommend it because it is cheaper and you are a few meters away from the water. The rest of the hotel has been updated and looked great. The pool is nice (although colder than the ocean!) and breakfast was very good.

The hotel is located right at the end of the beach where the sand is soft and white and no loungers to hire on the beach which means sometimes you feel like it’s a private beach which is lovely. The downside of this was no places to eat or drink immediately outside the hotel but a 8 minute walk along the beach brought you to Nature Rocks at Nature Beach hotel which was excellent and well priced. The Siam did have a restaurant but breakfast catered more for the Chinese and not brilliant so didn’t try an evening meal. A baht bus could be flagged down on the main road to go to the town 50 baht per person. We upgraded to a pool room from a standard sea view with balcony as even though all rooms had a sea view the balcony only had a small partition between next door so hardly any privacy. The private pool room was amazing but like most of the other rooms and grounds crying out to have some money spent on them in fact a villa next to us at the end of the grounds probably needed to be demolished. But after saying all this and staying previously at the 4* hotels this was our favourite because of the stunning location plus peace and quiet. You really felt like you were in Thailand. If you value that over being in a higher star hotel where all the sunbeds are reserved at the crack of dawn and the breakfast buffet resembles something out of a holiday camp canteen I know where I would rather be any day! Just shut your eyes to the obvious faults and enjoy a little bit of paradise. Oh some rooms have been renovated but no guarantee you will get one. All the staff are friendly even reception if you take the time to talk to them, be respectful and smile !
