The best resort I have been to. Super nice staff, Nice facilities, and great beaches. Rooms are perfectly clean and quiet. 10\10. Would recommend to rent a car so can travel easily to near cities like Rethmno and Chania

Very nice Beach Hotel in the middle of nowhere”
I like the hotel, because it has a great selection of rooms from simple to luxurious with private pools and direct seaview. The hotel was built for adults although it now also serves families. However, most pools are 1,40m deep so watch out with small children. The kids club is a bit off at the corner of the resort. If you want piece and quiet, it is great. We loved it.

Wow, what can I say! From the moment we were greeted by basilisks and run through the hotel facilities we felt we were in paradise. We arrived mid afternoon after a very long journey and was greeted with a tray of drink options, one that include local Masitha cocktail. Upon checking in we had been given an upgrade to a sea view with a shared pool (8 people in total) room 519 Unexpected but always a nice touch. The Hotel is very pretty and well presented, offering great views from our room and the restaurants and multiple bars. If you looking for a very relaxing break then this is the hotel for you! Each guest is given a free Spa voucher for ThalassaTheropy (forgive me if spelt wrong) I suggest to book straight away as it gets booked up quickly. The private beach offers a great little bar and loungers to settle in for a relaxing few hours/day. There are a few rocks so be careful when entering the sea. Again great beach bar service. Thank you Antonio The food at the Elia a la cart restaurant was delicious although the same menu was offered for 5 of the 6 days on the all inclusive. would have been nice to have different menu at least a few times. The breakfast and dinner buffet options were good and what you would expect when catering for different cultures. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch overall. The staff at The Royal Blue can not do enough for you! It’s the sincere service that you truly appreciate. I have to give a very special mention to Dimitris our waiter during our stay, what a fantastic guy. Thank you for adding the personal touches to our trip remembering all that we liked and helping us with our wine selections. You are an assets to the team. Entertainment each night came with a different theme, Managers welcome champagne night, Motown, Tradition Greek dancers and a Beach Party. Amazing relaxing place with the best service ever!”
We came for 4 days just to relax, read a book and enjoy the sun.. I have to say that at first we were in shock of how nice the people and the stuff treated us! and than when we took a look a round it was so amazing! The hotel is isolated and have the best facilities with the best view! a private beach, multiple swimming pools, some are for adults only so no chance of any interruption while you are napping or reading your book. In general there are no families with lots of kids in the hotel, so it always quit and relaxing. The spa treatments were amazing to, the stuff really know their work, highly professional and very kind. Food, you cannot go wrong no matter what restaurant in the resort you choose to eat in, also the room service food is high quality and come fast! overall this is one of the best places i ever being to, also my partner think so, the service the facilities the food are amazing, there is no reason to get out of the resort, just bring a good book :)

pricy but worth it. amazing location, not too far from the near village (7 min by car), wonderful beach and an amazing breakfast. the pools are great, and so are the rooms.

Disappointing ”
The staff, with few exceptions, is unprofessional and rude. Whenever I requested something, for example to change dinner with lunch, which initially They said I could even if I requested in the same day, they came up with the rule that you cam do it 24h in advance, even though 2 days before we had been allowed to do it in the same conditions. We had the impression that we are not welcomed there. 3 days before living we already had the invoice with our consumption. When we arrived at dinner at 9 ( 30 min before closing) the waiters deliberately ignored us and did not set the table, being busy to take already all of the tables and go home. The cleaning is not proper and the fittings in the room are old; at the bathroom for example the shower broke. They did not have our room as they probably overbooked and asked us to move temporarily to a different room.
