"Excellent hotel for the money. We stayed for 2 nights in a king suite. First of all, this location is absolutely fantastic, just 15 minutes Uber / Lyft ride for universal studio for about $10. Also many restaurants and grocery in walking distance. The hotel itself is an older property but quite clean and spacious. It appears well maintained overall. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was really big and the single window ac was not as sufficient for the hot afternoon, but the staff provided a nice pedestal fan to help out. Also they waived parking fee for Agoda booking. One minus was exhaust fan in bath not working but I’m sure they would have fixed if we complained. Overall a pleasant stay, would recommend."

"Stayed here in September 2019. Hotel lovely with 1970s decor which gives it a very cool vibe! Pool area spotless, beverages expensive however food is reasonable and very tasty. The trolley to Universal city is great however we Ubered everywhere else....however there is a shopping mall with a supermarket, pharmacy, Starbucks etc in walking distance. I’d stay again 👍🏻"

"I like that they made an effort to improve the rooms. They have installed newer toilet, vanities, paints and adding trellis and plants to look more inviting. The only improvement I suggests someday not immediately are newer pillows and bedsheets and maybe even bed. "

"Universal Studios is a very easy 10 min walk away. That's the primary reason I booked. The hotel itself is simple but great value for money for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are very big, bathrooms are modern, beds are super comfy, and room cleaning service is top notch. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Can't fault it. The only thing I wish it had was an in-house restaurant for breakfast and light dinner, but they do have a small take-away shop on ground floor for simple stuff like sandwiches, fruits and juices. Besides being close to Universal Studios, it's also near the trian station which takes you to Hollywood (one stop) or central Union Station (35 mins). Taxi to airport was about USD$70. Would stay again when returning to Universal.. and go on the Harry Potter ride, it's the best!"
